58- Vista Blue
Dive site number 58 – Vista Blue is a stunning reef that immediately surprises you. It starts fairly shallow and then stretches out for a long distance, giving you plenty of time to drift calmly along the reef. It’s precisely this vastness that makes this dive site so special, there’s always something new to discover.
Personally, I find the right side the most beautiful. Here you’ll find a gorgeous mix of soft and hard corals that together create a colorful and lively landscape. Schools of fish regularly swim past the reef, making every dive feel different.
What makes this spot extra special for me are the barracudas and horse-eye jacks that often patrol the area. It’s impressive to watch them actively hunting smaller fish. In my opinion, Vista Blue is a dive site that is truly underrated and deserves much more recognition.

💡Personal advice💡
- This dive is suitable for both comfortable open water divers and advanced divers, as long as you always take the currents into account.
- Start your dive heading toward the buoy and use your compass as a reference point, so you can return in a relaxed and controlled way, even with changing currents. Since a kite surfer may occasionally pass over Vista Blue, it’s wise to use your DSMB during ascent.
- Barracudas, horse-eye jacks, and other large marine life actively hunt around the reef. Keep looking into the open water so you don’t miss any of these impressive moments.
